Leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, and changemakers from around the world gathered in Bali, Indonesia for the inaugural Global Impact Summit & Awards, held February 24–25, 2026 at the Harper Hotel in Kuta.

Organized by Entrepreneurs’ Diaries Magazine, the two-day summit brought together global voices in business, media, technology, philanthropy, and social impact for conversations centered on leadership, collaboration, and purpose-driven enterprise.

The event featured keynote sessions, international panel discussions, networking gatherings, and an awards gala honoring leaders whose work is making meaningful contributions across industries and communities around the world.

Among the honorees were several Filipino-American leaders whose work spans entrepreneurship, media, beauty, recruitment, and filmmaking — representing communities across California, Texas, and New Jersey.

Storytelling Through Fashion and Film

One of the summit’s most memorable moments was a fashion showcase that blended culture, creativity, and storytelling.

The runway featured:

The fashion presentation served as both a cultural celebration and a glimpse into the creative collaboration behind the film.

Later that evening, attendees gathered for a special presentation connected to the film Love and Karma.

The film’s music supervisor James Golding performed several songs from the movie before the trailer was shown, giving the audience a powerful introduction to the project’s musical and emotional tone.

The moment transformed the Leadership Summit and Awards Gala into something more than a celebration of business achievement — it became a reminder of how storytelling, music, fashion, and film can connect people across cultures.

A Classroom Beyond the Summit

During their time in Bali, Celeste Friedman, James Golding, and Mic Diaz visited Primakara University, where they held a lecture for students focused on filmmaking, marketing, and creative entrepreneurship.

Friedman spoke about where inspiration for filmmaking comes from, sharing how personal experiences, cultural stories, and real-life transformations can become powerful narratives on screen.

Golding performed songs from Love and Karma before the film’s trailer was shown to the students.

Diaz encouraged students to pursue what they truly love and to explore their passions with courage and curiosity.

Her message reflected a theme that echoed throughout the summit:

“Leadership begins with understanding what you love — and having the courage to build something meaningful from it.”

Leadership in Action

While the summit centered on global leadership and entrepreneurship, the experience also included community outreach.

Friedman and Diaz joined Sole Family Bali on a medical mission in the mountain communities of Amed, Bali, where volunteers provided medical care to families in remote areas with limited access to healthcare.

The visit served as a powerful reminder that leadership is not only about recognition — it is also about service.

A Shared Vision

As the summit concluded, one message resonated among attendees from across the world:

Leadership today is no longer limited by geography.

Entrepreneurs, artists, and innovators are building networks that transcend borders and cultures, working together to create meaningful change.

The Global Impact Summit & Awards demonstrated that despite different industries, backgrounds, and experiences, leaders across the globe share a common goal — to create impact that uplifts communities and inspires the next generation.
