After Team Padsing’s successful pro debut in Dallas, Texas, Jerick Padsing went right back to work in the gym the following week. “The worst thing the fighter can do is to get comfortable after a win”. explains Pablo. He does not want Jerick to form bad habits in the future taking too much time off from boxing after a win.
As the team moves forward, there are talks about having a fight in Mexico City, Mexico for next year around February. “It’s a better move overall for the team,” says Pablo. (Jerick’s long-time coach and manager) Jerick has to train extra hard now that Mexico City is above 7,000 feet altitude. He is going to have to train in Mount Charleston just to have the same sea level. The air is thin and this makes it hard on the body and especially the mind. The team is already on the task and to God be all the glory the Christ Jesus.
