Nyoy Volante celebrates his birthday in L.A. with a Triple Birthday Bash concert

Nyoy Volante, the Filipino singer-songwriter with a cool and soothing voice packed MP Bistro in Cerritos once again last Sunday, January 26, 2024. 

Coming back to Los Angeles from the heels of his highly successful 2023 North American tour, Nyoy performed for an enthusiastic devoted fanbase eager to get a glimpse of the acoustic pop star. Armed with his signature acoustic renditions of popular American pop songs and OPM classics, Nyoy celebrated his much-awaited birthday and comeback concert.

Spotlight Awards Best Female Vocalist of the Year 2022 Jane Provido and her band, Spotlight Awards Best Show Band of the Year 2022 Optimum Groove Band with its Musical Director Roy Venturina opened the show with a variety of indispensable pop and disco tunes from the ‘70s through ’90s.

Concert producer, dedicated promoter of Nyoy Volante and owner of ME Aesthetics, birthday celebrant Maria Kristina “Tintin” Enriquez, joined the lineup of local talent with her version of the Tears for Fears hit song “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” among other pop hits.

International R&B singer Honore offered a melange of R&B hits from the ‘90s while World Championship of Performing Arts multi-medalist and birthday celebrant Kevin Hermogenes performed his brand of pop ballads. Fil-Am Prince of Pop Garth Garcia shared the stage with Kevin for an amazing performance. Hosted by Jensen Quijano aka Tiny and Christian Ylagan, the show wouldn’t be complete without Nyoy showcasing his falsetto singing voice through his classic hit “Nasaan,” South Border’s “Kahit Kailan” and Martin Nievera’s “Each Day With You.”

A special duet performance from Nyoy and Ronnie Cruz, a longtime friend to Nyoy, acoustic guitar player and musical arranger, to a surprised audience completed the fun-filled night.

Representatives from concert producers and sponsors such as MTS Law Firm led by Mary Lyn Sanaa, Allegro Musicale, TinTin Productions, ESG Productions headed by Cris Esguerra and Starlink Promotions led by Garth Garcia were present.

Nyoy Volante is set to perform at several countries in Asia in the next coming months and looks forward to coming back to North America for another set of performances.
