FilAmTV.us proudly announces the addition of comedian Kitty Pineapple to the cast of the new heartwarming series “Maid to Shine.” Executive produced by Sam Buban, President and CEO of FilAmTV Network and owner of Pure Medical Equipment & Supplies, and Esmeralda Padilla-Gould, Vice President & COO of FilAmTV Network from the prominent Padilla showbiz clan in the Philippines, this six-episode romantic comedy promises to captivate audiences with its blend of drama, humor, and music.

Set against the vibrant neon backdrop of Las Vegas, “Maid to Shine” tells the story of Elena Santos, a hardworking Filipina maid with an extraordinary hidden talent for singing. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she crosses paths with Gabriel Rivera, a famous Filipino pop star searching for authenticity and genuine connections. As their worlds collide, they embark on a journey of self-discovery, love, and the pursuit of dreams, all while navigating the complexities of family, identity, and class.

Kitty Pineapple, known for her captivating performances in Hawaii and Las Vegas, will bring her unique comedic flair to the role of the iconic “Miss Pitik Pitik.”

Kitty Pineapple is a featured regular comedienne at Wiseguys Comedy Club (Vegas), Downtown Comedy Lounge (Vegas), Don’t Tell Comedy (Vegas), and Blue Note (Hawaii). She is also the co-producer of the popular Noypitz Fil-Am Comedy Show in Las Vegas. Since 2005, her goal has been to bring people from within and outside the LGBTQ community together through entertaining, and relatable humor.

From the island of Hawaii to the bright lights of Las Vegas, Kitty Pineapple’s comedy has resonated so well with audiences that she has become a star in multiple comedy clubs, including Wiseguys Comedy Club, Downtown Comedy Lounge, and The Dirty at 12:30. She has sold out theaters in her home state of Hawaii. Kitty also performs at universities and colleges, such as the University of North Texas at Dallas, University of Idaho, and CSU East Bay, to name a few.

Executive Producers Sam Buban and Esmeralda Padilla-Gould, along with Director Giovannie Espiritu, were unanimous in their decision to cast Kitty Pineapple after her standout audition. Espiritu remarked, “As soon as we saw Kitty’s audition, we knew she was perfect for the role. It was the first unanimous ‘YES’ from the EPs and myself. Kitty’s energy and humor are a perfect fit for ‘Maid to Shine,’ and we can’t wait to see her bring Miss Pitik Pitik to life.”
