FIL-AMERICAN CREATIVES RECEIVE CONGRESSIONAL RECOGNITION
It was a rainy afternoon on December 1t +63FIFTY. The place was buzzing with frenzy as scheduled performers were doing last-minute run-throughs of their acts and the audience were filling the seats. Time was ticking as the 13th Annual Breakin Boundaries Distrct ARTS Winter Festival Showcase fundraiser was about to go down. Attendees were purchasing last-minute raffle tickets and the hosts were getting the introductions in order. Finally, Distrct owners, Kara Jayar, and Ronnie gave the thumbs up to start the show, and the first crew came out and entertained the crowd with a parade-style performance that got everyone hyped!
One after the other the performers graced the stage from ages 4 and up, singing, dancing, breaking, and even a surprise wedding proposal from a young singing duet couple! Acclaimed artist from Marlene Markos of Hawaii’s favorite singing group Forté. RedBull BC One Champion Bboy Ronnie, to world-famous Rynan Paguio of the Jabbawockeez also blessed the +63FIFTY stage. Midway thru the event, Hosts Antonius and Kara of Distrct ARTS pump the breaks and start blessing the show goes with raffle prize winners and even surprise 10 lucky guests with a gift card under their seats.
Towards the end of the evening’s festivities, representatives of the Senate, Congress, House of Representatives, and the AAPI Chamber of Commerce, came to acknowledge several artists and creators from the city, in accordance with the IMMIX Creatives Awards for their contributions towards the culture and arts of Las Vegas. The awards were presented by Angelica Villarta, CEO of BluCat group and the appointed commissioner and vice chairman of the Nevada Commission of Minority Affairs, alongside Antonius, the creator of LifeWork, and Vegas Life TV/FilamTV Network’s very own.

These were amongst some of the most influential tastemakers and trendsetters of Las Vegas in the last 2 decades representing a city with a melting pot of identities and cultures spanning the entire world. Hats off to these brilliant souls and their efforts for a better Nevada.
